Angelo has worked in financial services for nearly 20 years, beginning his career with a global banking firm before moving into independent financial advice. In 2014, he founded AKORN Financial Advice Ltd with a clear vision: to provide modern, client-focused advice built on technical expertise, straightforward communication and exceptional service.

Alongside advising clients, Angelo is a respected technical author, trainer and professional writer within the financial services sector. In 2019, he founded AKORN Education and has since worked with Redmill Advance, one of the UK's leading financial services training businesses, helping advisers, paraplanners and firms develop their technical knowledge and achieve professional qualifications.

His experience also includes four years as a university lecturer, teaching on accounting and financial services degree programmes delivered by Lancaster University through the University Centre at Blackburn College.

Angelo is particularly passionate about financial wellbeing and resilience, helping people build confidence around money and raising awareness of the financial gender gap.

Outside of work, Angelo is devoted to his family. He enjoys running, playing golf and taking on charity challenges, having completed several ultra-endurance events in support of Pendleside Hospice. He also serves on the board of Six Connections, a mental health charity.
